Project name: “Inclusion-Friendly Classroom: The ICF as

a Problem-Solving Tool for the Team Around the Child in Educational Settings” (short name: „Include with ICF”)

On 28 and 29.03.2022 was held our first meeting in Skopje. Where was discussed and realized a detailed explanation of the project which aims at adequate tools according to the ICF for better inclusion in a social  friendly classroom based on the educational system.

We are infinitely happy that we as the NGO Imago Plus are the partner in this much needed project for everyone.

The use and enrichment of tools according to the ICF is very important for all teachers special educators and parents of children who have difficulties or different kinds od development, which is basically the main goal of the project.

ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, WHO 2005) is a common

language to describe the situation of a person with a health problem – in line with strategies of the

UN Convention on the Right of PwD. In most EU27 IF is foreseen as a main heurism as it increases social inclusion and international/ transsectoral comparability and focuses on participation

including parents and pupils within meaningful activities.

Within a 2nd step IF supports assessment processes, as abilities are connected with typical age, psychological tests and school curricula.
